Pablo Sandoval seems to know that fans will always be scrutinizing his weight, and he also doesn’t seem have a care in the world.
As Winter Storm Juno strikes the Northeast, it’s understandable that the Panda isn’t shaping up for the season by trudging through the snow. Instead, Sandoval has been indoors like the rest of us these past couple days, honing his half court shot. And it’s not any ordinary half courter, as you can see in this Instagram video.
It doesn’t quite look like Sandoval has a six-pack, but that’s still a pretty impressive display of core strength. The Panda could definitely make some cash hustling in H-O-R-S-E. He’s already made millions on the field looking more like an eccentric adult softball league player than a major leaguer. If Sandoval can come to spring training a bit slimmer than his normal cherubic frame, I’m sure the Sox will be thrilled, whatever it takes.
