Fenway opens for Halloween celebration

Well this is pretty cool!

The Sox have announced that they will open the doors of Fenway to the public for the “Halloween at Fenway Park” on Thurs. Oct 30. Fans of all ages will have the chance to trick or treat around the warning track while enjoying the movie Ghostbusters in what promises to be a pretty awesome event.

As if the 2014 season wasn’t scary enough though.

What makes this even better is that the event is, shockingly, free to the public, you just need to print out a free ticket to attend. Of course, paying for parking is a nightmare in itself and will cost you plenty so I guess it all evens out. Trick or treating will run 3pm-6pm while the movie will start at 7:15.

You can get your free tickets here.

It may be a little cheesy, but I think it’s pretty awesome and for my inner five year old if I wasn’t going to school in Worcester I’d definitely line up to go.
