Hi I’m Tyler! I’m the CEO and Founder of Monstah Mash.
Prior to writing for Monstah Mash I worked for several sports sites including Boston Sports Nut, The Daily Player, and She’s Game Sports. I worked for the last one for seven months, eventually being promoted to the chief Sox writer/analyst before deciding to part ways in the summer of 2013.
It was in June that I founded Monstah Mash to bring the latest in Sox news to all the fans in Red Sox Nation. Since then the site has grown as our staff as more than tripled in the past eight months! It has been an incredible ride and one I have thoroughly enjoyed as running this site really has been the best job I’ve ever had.
That’s not all there is to me though, I’m from the Boston area born and raised, so I’ve grown up a Sox fan right from the beginning. I am a graduate from the College of the Holy Cross where I studied English and Economics (interesting combo, I know). When I’m not cheering or booing the Sox on TV I love to play baseball in an amateur league in the city. In addition to baseball-related activities I also love going to the beach at the Cape, cooking Italian food, and (badly) playing the piano.
